Outfit: Sunny Lace and Rockstuds

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Welcome back from the weekend!!! I would love to catch you guys up on my great weekend (even work on Sunday was good), however, I have to keep this short and sweet....the boatload of work on my desk, as well as the long list of patients I have to see are calling me.....incessantly might I add! My mantra this week is "I love my career, I need my job, I love to shop".....its one of the view things (after much prayer) that will keep me sane this week. So without further adieu, let's get into my look below :-)

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I changed up my hairstyle this past Saturday. I've been wanting some braids for a while, however, when I arrived at my stylist's shop I had no idea I would walk out of there with the weight and length you see above.......I was so nervous!!!! LOL!

Anyhew, I let the bf drag me out with him to a party. I took these photos around 7:30pm and yes the sun was still bright as heck.....I love the summer time!!!!

This is only my second time taking these beauties out for a stroll.....WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??? These are the most comfortable designer heels I own. As a matter of fact, they are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes in my closet....#truestory

Fresh face diva......I guess I could have went with a lip stain, but I wasn't feeling it at the time.

Outfit: Safari Glam

Greetings Fashionistas,

Happy Friday!!!!! *throws confetti* The weekend is here and that means one thing.....my vacation starts in exactly 1 week! Whoop, whoop! Okay, let me reign in my excitement.....the good lord knows I won't be any good at work if I don't put a lid on it ;-) I usually pack my clothes a couple of days before a trip but this time I'm fully packed more than a week in advance, lol. I've been shopping like crazy which is the one thing I don't like about myself around vacation time. I mean, I already have items that are perfect for a trip filled with beach essentials and lazy glamour clothing (that is such a perfect oxymoron *tee hee hee*) but I still tend to buy new items. Someone please take my card.....and memory since I know the digits as smoothly as I know my social security number, SMH.

I'm getting my hair braided this weekend and I'm so excited. I've rocked this protective style for the longest as my hair transitioned from its relaxed state to a natural one free of harsh chemicals and constant heat. However, I'm still scared to let it all down; not because I am ashamed of any connotations, I LOVE my heritage.....but simply because I have two left hands when it comes to hair styling, lol. Furthermore, my patience is paper thin!!! Thank goodness I have fabulous stylist and wonderful girlfriends who are going to help me out :-)

Geesh, I'm just typing away like I don't have to get my behind up and head in to work, lol. The look below is what I playfully label safari glam. I built the look around my hat because ever since I made the decision to switch to braids, I have done absolutely NOTHING to these poor little weaved tresses. So this hat paired with my fav DIY vest was the start and then I had to amp up the look with a burgundy lip and bombshell heels. I do love my contradictory outfits....makes me appear discombobulated! Haaa!

My bf despises these shorts, LMBO! He says they have waaayyyyy too much room in them, sort of reminds him of Depends.....LOL. #men

Grainy pic....sorry it was raining yesterday so I had to take these indoors. I've had these heels for years but I can't seem to get rid of them....love!

Tank, Shorts, and Heels - Basic

Greetings Fashion Friends,

Yaayyy Hump Day! It's been one of those weeks so far, lol.

I took my mom to run some errands because she's still in recovery mode. I know that my mom likes fashion as well but for some reason, she hasn't fallen in love with my heels!!! Come on mommy! LOL. She says there's too much going on for her but she can see the appeal because they are very unique. These versatile sandals come in handy when pairing different color combos and/or adding a pop of color to a basic look.

Just so you know.....I don't plan on EVER retiring these heels, LOL.

Brown pearls.....ummm, yes please!!!!

Outfit: Leopard Skirt and Red Ankle-Strap Heels

Greetings Fashion Pad Readers,

Welcome back from the weekend loves! I hope everyone had a good time. My weekend was great. I visited family, kicked it with a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in months, received an awesome word from God at church, and I went shopping and bought like 5 pairs of shoes in 3 days! I so need an intervention. These mini shopping binges come and go and I can never tell when they come along.....I would love to know so I could conveniently shut down my internet access and stay away from the malls! Of course I will share my purchases with you all when they arrive. I was able to get some really good pieces but good grief.......I was trying to wait to shop on my trip, but low and behold, my habitual shopping activities are super restless. SMH.

This grown and sexy look made me appear reallly old.......not in a bad way, but I was on my "grown woman" for sure!!! LOL!

LMBO at my face here! I was fussing out either 1 of my nephews or my niece. Who knows!

Outfit: Blazer, Crop Top, and Silk Trousers

Greetings Fashionistas,

Happy Friday! I'm work-free this weekend soooooo.....what to do, what to do??? I would say that I'm going to complete the remaining closet cleaning I have left but that plan immediately depressed me. I could catch up on some organizing that I planned for my home but.....I instantly developed comatose state as the mere thought crossed my mind! Well, I guess that leaves a little shopping and city browsing.....but just a little. I am holding back because I'll be on vacation in a mere 2 weeks and I don't think it's smart to go on a shopping spree right before a trip. As a result, I plan to only pick out some essentials ;-)

I'm getting a little obsessed with cropped tops. I think it's because I finally realized that you don't have to have a freakin' six-pack to wear them! I've always wanted to rock them in my adult years because my mom was not having it in my teen years, lol. That woman! But I so appreciate her :-)

Headed out with my boo and I pulled out the crop top again. It was a compromise as I was not in the mood to wear anything fitted. The boo approved, lol.

I absolutely love these pants. I purchased them several months ago and got tired of seeing the tag on them so I was determined to wear them........finally. The style reminds me of a pair of boxing pants. These suckers are so awesome!!!

Don't even comment if you think you want to advise me on my expanded waist line......I'll find you, lol.
