Oh wow, we made it! Another beautiful day usher's in the beginning of a new year. Year 2013 will undoubtedly bring new challenges that we must try our best to prepare for and new opportunities that will allow us to spread our wings and fly. However, we have to understand that we can't be prepared to face every single mountain, but a positive, determined attitude will make any "mountain" appear as a simple mole hill. I pray much success, happiness, and good health for you and your family. God bless you all :-)
I'm trying my best to get back on track with my blogging and it's definitely on my 2013 goal list, lol. I simply love you all for continuing to support my fashion forum and as you can see, I'm starting to turn things around beginning with my blog template. Next change will be my content. Although this blog is an awesome hobby for me, I still want it to be well edited and interesting. Wish me luck ;-)
The weekend before Christmas I attended a scholarship banquet and I had a great time. The attire was cocktail/semi-formal but I totally went with a simple, understated look. In retrospect, I am very disappointed in my choice for this event because you all know how much I love getting dressed up, SMH.
Don't get me wrong, I love this dress but I had so many that I haven't worn yet which would have been waaayyyyy more appropriate.
I tried to dress it up with a statement necklace. I should have went with more bling!
I need to purchase another pair of ankle strap heels because I am wearing the heck out of these babies, LOL.
Please excuse my nephew's toy in the background. He tried so hard to interrupt my photos, lol. I had to crop these pics extensively!
