Outfit: Simple Tee and Body Con Skirt

Greetings Fashionistas,

How's it going folks? Unlike last week, I'm super excited it's Friday! This week has been tough. Between work and church the amount of multi-tasking I've done would definitely be a contender for the Guinness Book of World Records.........can you tell I've had a rough week???

Alas, it's over and I have a good weekend to look forward to. Tonight I'm going out with the bf and tomorrow I have my cousin's baby shower to attend and later that evening my mom is teaching me how to sew a pair of pants I've been wanting her to make. That is going to be hilarious!!! But let's all pause for a moment of silence in anticipation of the death of my mom's patience.......thank you. LOL!

Sunday I'm working but hopefully it will be an alright experience *crosses fingers*. I should be able to slow down after that. Anyhew, on to the post. On New Year's day it was hot as Hades and I was sick. I tried to "dress up" a little to distract from my Rudolph the Reindeer red nose and fatigued appearance.

Simple top and skirt but I added a little glam factor with the addition of my statement necklace and other jewelry, vintage bag, and heels.

I love this necklace. It's so freakin' awesome!
